Mid Sussex District Council
Mid Sussex District Council will remove dead animals such as cats, dogs, badgers, foxes and deer from the public highway and verges.

The removal of dead animals from private land is the duty of the landowner.  

If you would like to report a dead animal seen on the highway please use the secure form for reporting dead animals. Please note the option to report a dead deer is not available on this form.
To report a dead deer you need to email  or call the Customer Contact Centre on 01444 477440.

We are affiliated to the Badger Trust - the nationwide charitable organisation which campaigns to protect badgers across the UK. The Cinnamon Trust
