Code of Conduct

At its meeting held on 25 March 2002 the Council adopted a Code of Conduct which sets out the conduct which is expected of Members and Co-opted Members of the Council.

Members have registered their financial and other interests as required by the Code of Conduct and will register gifts and hospitality they receive as members which exceed £25.00.

The Code of Conduct, the Register of Interests and the Register of Gifts and Hospitality, can be inspected by the public at the Burgess Hill Town Council Help Point, 96 Church Walk, Burgess Hill, RH15 9AS, Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00 hours and Saturday 09.30 – 12.30 hours and at the Main Reception at the Mid Sussex District Council, Oaklands, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1SS between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00 hours Mondays to Thursdays and 09.00 and 16.00 hours on Fridays.
