About Town Photographic Competition

About Town About Town is the Town Council's quarterly magazine, which is published in March, June, September and December. It is distributed free of charge to 12,600 households, reaching 28,803 residents and retailers in Burgess Hill.

The magazine informs readers about key issues in the town and initiatives the Town Council is involved in, through news items and features.  It publicises local events and organisations; informs about the services and advice sessions on offer; it can be used by readers to voice their opinions through Letters to the Editor.

In addition, the magazine is distributed to the Town Council's seven partner organisations, including tourist information offices and libraries.  It is also mailed out to major organisations and key figures within them.  There is also a thriving subscription list.

So, whether you are a commercial business needing to target a wider audience or a voluntary organisation trying to attract members, the opportunity exists through advertising or editorial to reach every resident of Burgess Hill.

Advertisers should note that editorial items are only accepted in the following circumstances:

  • Introducing a new business in Burgess Hill

  • Introducing a new development in Burgess Hill.
