In addition to dealing with enquiries from the public through the Help Point, the Town Council provides a number of other services.  These include managing the town's five allotments, creating and managing the new burial ground, taking bookings for the Town Crier, and managing the Town Council's finances. 

In addition, the public is kept informed about the Town Council's activities through the quarterly About Town magazine, regular press releases, the Annual Report and Annual Accounts.
