The Town Clerk, under the direction of the Finance Key Area Group, shall regulate and control the finances and accounts of the Town Council and supervise and co-ordinate financial and accounting methods.

The Responsible Financial Officer shall be responsible, under general direction of the Town Clerk, for the proper administration of the Council's financial affairs and the production of financial management administration, in line with the requirements of the Accounts and Audit Regulations.
