KEYWORKER
SCHEMES
Anyone interested
in properties being sold in connection with Affordable Housing Schemes
needs to meet the Government's Key Worker criteria and be registered on
Mid Sussex District Council's Common Housing Register.
To be eligible you
must be a public sector key worker in one of the following
categories: NHS health workers, Teachers in publicly funded schools
or in further education and sixth form colleges, Police officers and some
police civilians, Prison and probation service staff, Social workers,
occupational therapists and educational psychologists employed by local
authorities. Eligibility does vary by profession and area according
to employer's priorities and is based on where you work, rather than where
you currently live.
