Recycling

Recycling SymbolMid Sussex District Council operates a kerbside wheelie bin recycling collection service. Plastic bottles, mixed paper and cardboard, food and drink cans, glass bottles and jars and tetra paks (without a silver lining) can all be recycled in the bin. Mid Sussex District Council’s website provides information on which day your recycling will be collected. This service covers the whole district and is available to all residents. There is special provision for the elderly and people living in blocks of flats.

If you would like to start recycling your rubbish but do not have a wheelie bin please contact the Help Point where we will take your details and pass them on to Mid Sussex District Council who will arrange delivery for you.

For more information on how to recycle more of your waste check out our recycling and re-use guide.

The Town Council also recycles your unwanted bulbs.
