A Step Forward - Domestic Abuse Drop In

Domestic Abuse - don't put on a brave face.A Step Forward is a weekly drop-in service offering advice and support to victims of domestic abuse.  The drop-in's are held as follows.

East Grinstead 

Wednesday 9.30 - 11.30am

Anyone needing advice for themselves, a friend or relative, or simply needing someone to talk to, can come to these drop -in locations and ask to speak to an adviser.  You can speak in complete safety, privacy and confidentiality to people who understand and have the power to help.

The service is completely free and no appointment is needed.  If you are unable to get there in person, you can telephone during drop-in hours on 07961 022443.

The Women's Domestic Violence Helpline can be contacted on 0161 839 8574 and their website can be found at www.wdvh.org.uk.

Refuge also now have a website which contains useful information for those affected by domestic abuse, and this can be found at www.refuge.org.uk.

The Mankind Initiative  provides support and information for male victims of domestic abuse.  They run a national helpline on 0870 794 4124 and their website can be found at www.mankind.org.uk.

Men’s Aid also provides support and information for male victims of domestic abuse.  Their email is support@mensaid.org and their website can be found at www.ukmensaid.org.
