Births and deaths can be registered at the Help Point every Tuesday (except when Monday is a Bank Holiday) and Thursday between 3.00-4.00pm, by appointment only.

To register a birth you need to bring the discharge papers from the hospital or midwife and if you are not married both you and your partner must attend the surgery.  If you are registering a death you need to bring the medical certificate from the doctor of the deceased.  To make an appointment please telephone the West Sussex County Council Registrar’s Office on 01444 413415.
