Taxi
Vouchers
As from 1 April
2006 taxi vouchers, which are available instead of a Sussex Countcard Buss
Pass, will only be available to those who cannot use public transport
because of a disability. All applicants (including those who
are aged 60 or over, or those who have received vouchers previously) will
need to complete an application form and obtain their doctors signature
and practice stamp. All taxi vouchers issued after 1 April 2006 will
have an expiry date printed on them and will have to be used during that
financial year.
One or more vouchers may be used for up to half
the fare with participating taxi companies. There is no charge for a
book of 30 x £1.00 vouchers. Only one book is available per
eligible resident in any twelve month period from the date of issue.
To
obtain the Taxi Vouchers you will need to provide proof of residency,
proof of age or disability and a passport size photograph. Application

If you are visually impaired you are entitled to a reduction of 50% on the
Television Licence. To claim
the reduction send your original blind registration document by special
