Eggs-citing Easter Holiday Activities
Now that the winter weather blues are (hopefully) behind us, it is time to get out and about and enjoy the spring sunshine. There’s a fantastic selection of local Easter events to tempt all the family, young and old alike.
There are lots of activities being organised over the Easter holiday period. Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point and Tourist Information Centre has produced a free handout giving details of Easter events being held at attractions in and around Burgess Hill.
If you just want to get out and about in the beautiful Sussex countryside, there’s a whole host of leaflets with details of walks, long or short, in the local area. The ‘Walks around Burgess Hill’ leaflet gives details of four circular walks starting and finishing in Burgess Hill. The walks are of varying distances, and highlight points of interest. Why not make a day of it with a picnic, but please remember the Country Code and take your rubbish home with you. A little further away there are cycle routes along disused railway lines, which are ideal for family bike rides.
To pick up your free copy of the Easter events listing or any tourism leaflet, pop into Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point and Tourist Information Centre at 96 Church Walk, Burgess Hill. Alternatively telephone 01444 247726 or email touristinformation@burgesshill.gov.uk and a copy will be sent to you. The information is also available on the Town Council’s website, www.burgesshill.gov.uk.
