A light-hearted and non-technical account with musical illustrations by piano and voice.  The Magic Flute is one of the world's great masterpieces - simple and profound, comic and spiritual and of unmatched beauty.  This talk by Jonathan Hinden, principal coach at Glyndebourne for many years, is a celebration of Mozart's genious, and also finds an important central message amid the great diversity of characters and ideas.
