BURGESS HILL SAYS YES TO NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

Burgess Hill Town Council is delighted that 84% of those who voted in the Referendum on 10 December 2015 were in favour of the Neighbourhood Plan.

The Neighbourhood Plan will now be used by Mid Sussex District Council when it considers planning applications in the Neighbourhood Plan Area.

Leader of the Council, Andrew Barrett-Miles said, “I would like to thank the community for supporting the Plan.  This will ensure that the future development of the Town will be in our hands and not the developers.”
