CAREERS ADVICE SERVICE COMES TO HELP POINT

Careers advice surgeries are held at Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point, 96 Church Walk to provide expert career advice to local people.  A surgery is held every fortnight on Wednesday from 10.00-16.00 hours and operates on an appointment only basis.  The advice sessions for April take place on the 13 and 27 April.

The National Careers Service is FREE to all adults (aged 19+) and provides information, careers and skills advice tailored to the individual.

The adviser is able to help with writing a CV and how to target it to a particular job, interview skills and help to overcome interview anxiety, job search skills including writing speculative letters, completing application forms and searching on-line web sites and help with developing confidence and self-esteem to improve job prospects.
