Burgess Hill Tourist Information Centre has leaflets and information on a wide range of attractions in Mid Sussex and further afield.  Below is a taster of places to visit during your stay.  For further information on local attractions visit www.sussextourism.org.uk. Ashdown Forest Lama Park

Ashdown Forest Llama Park is situated in the midst of the beautiful Ashdown Forest and is home to a large breeding herd of llamas and alpacas. For further information visit Sussex Top Attractions. 


Bedelands Farm Nature Reserve


Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum

Something for everyone with one of the largest waterfowl collections including Swans, Geese, Ducks, Cranes and Flamingoes in a natural setting. For further information visit the Sussex Top Attractions.


Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell Railway is a preserved all-steam railway in West Sussex. See over 30 locomotives plus Victorian, 1930s and 1950s period stations. For further information visit the Sussex Top Attractions.


Booth Museum

Over half a million specimens, natural history literature and data extending back over three centuries are housed in this fascinating museum.


Chailey Windmill 2005

The windmill is open between 3pm and 5pm on the last Sunday of each month from April to September inclusive.  There are additional openings on 8 May, which is National Mills Day, and 11 September, National Heritage Day. The Mill contains an interesting collection of photographs of Chailey dating back over 100 years and also houses a rural life museum.  Special parties can be arranged by John Smith (01825 723519) or Graham Johnson (01825 722476).


CJ's Playland

Are you ready children for one of the largest soft play areas you have ever played in come and visit us in  Burgess Hill.


Drusillas Park

Drusillas has a wide variety of animals in naturalistic environments, including the famous Meerkats, a walk-through bat enclosure, Petworld, Penguin Bay, Millennium Bugs and Squirrel Monkey Island to name but a few! For further information visit  the Sussex Top Attractions.


Fishers Farm Park

A family day out - a unique mix of farmyard and dynamic adventure play. Daily events include farm shows in the newly refurbished Barn Theatre; tractor-trailer, pony, combine harvester rides.

Burgess Hill's prestigious championship Golf Course & driving range.


High Beeches

A famous garden boasting twenty five acres of magically beautiful, peaceful woodland and water gardens.


Historic Houses Association

Jack & Jill Windmills

The Jack and Jill Windmills perch on the top of Clayton Hill with beautiful views of the Sussex countryside. For further information contact the Tourist Information Centre on 01444 238202.


Lewes Castle

Visit this imposing castle and barbican at Lewes, built shortly after the Norman invasion of 1066, offering spectacular views from the top.  For further information visit the Sussex Top Attractions.


Orion Cinema

Sheffield Park and Gardens
