There are two Festivals in Burgess Hill every year. The Summer Festival takes place at the beginning of June and the Christmas Festival at the beginning of December. There are lots of opportunities for local people to get involved and suggest ideas for upcoming festivals. When did it start?
Burgess Hill Festival began 18 years ago with 5 events on its 2-day programme.

The aims
To positively promote Burgess Hill; to provide family entertainment thus building a strong community spirit; to involve as many local organisations and businesses as possible; to provide a vehicle for numerous organisations to demonstrate their talents and skills; and raise money for worthwhile causes.

Target audience
Burgess Hill and Mid Sussex residents of all ages and abilities.
