Come to Burgess Hill town centre for a taste of the seaside this summer.  For 4 weeks during the summer holidays a free sand pit will be available in the town centre - to keep the little ones occupied and give mum and dad a break while out shopping.

The sand pit will be open during the summer holidays, from 28 July to 28 August, 7 days a week, from 10am to 4pm each day.  It will be located in Church Walk, outside Burgess Hill Town Council’s Help Point. The sand pit will be officially opened by Burgess Hill’s Town Mayor on Friday 28 July at 11am. The sand pit will be covered overnight and checked every morning before being opened to the public.

Rules of the sand pit:

•             Children up to 12 years may use the sandpit
•             Children must be supervised by an adult
•             Please do not throw sand
•             No glass allowed
•             No dogs allowed
