Volunteering Opportunties Locally

North Sussex Search Team (NSST): If you are over 18 and fit enough for countryside walks (in potentially difficult terrain and adverse weather conditions) the NSST is always looking for volunteers to join its search team who help the police, when requested, to search for missing vulnerable persons and property which may be crucial to a police enquiry. Are you aged under 25?
Would you like to volunteer for the Young Citizens Advice Bureau? You can help people find the answers to their problems and help them to put their lives back on track. Interested? Send an email to ycab.midsussex@westsussexcab.org.uk . Young Citizens Advice Bureau is a project for 14-24 year-olds in Mid Sussex to train in various roles through the Citizens Advice Bureau training and support. This will enable them to develop an information and advice service to deliver to their peers on all issues that affect young people.
Outset Youth Action: Outset Youth Action (Outset) is an independent county wide youth organisation and registered Charity which operates over the whole county of West Sussex. Outset acts as a volunteering agency for young people aged 13 – 25, encouraging and supporting young people to take on a wide range of volunteering opportunities within their community. The nature of these opportunities is to provide support and benefit to West Sussex communities and contribute to each young person’s own personal development.
