Burgess Hill Town Council Tea Parties

Spring Tea Party

The Spring Tea Party will be held on Thursday 30th April 2026, at Kings Weald Community Centre. There will be savoury and sweet nibbles, hot drinks and musical entertainment from Keziah.

As an addition to the tea party, ten local organisations who provide services to older residents will be attending with information for you! Including Age UK, WSCC Prevention Assessment Team, and MSOPC. Burgess Hill Creative Community will be bringing information about their craft groups and WSCC Digital Safety & Fraud Prevention Team will speak about how to keep yourself safe from fraud. You can also expect representatives from Places Leisure and Tapestry Day Club. HILS will also join us, to talk about the independent living support they can provide.

GoodOaks Homecare, who have kindly paid for the food, and Keymer Hall Boutique Care Home, who have sponsored the musical entertainment, will have representatives in attendance too.

It will run from 1.30pm to 4pm and there’s free parking right outside or the venue is serviced by buses 35c and 35a.

Bookings open on 30th March and FREE tickets can be booked via the Help Point at 96 Church Walk or by calling 01444 247726.

PLEASE NOTE: Priority will be given to Burgess Hill residents, should there be any availability, non-residents will be able to book the week prior to the tea party.

Previous Events

On Thursday 2nd October, we held our annual Silver Sunday Tea Party at the Kings Weald Community Centre, where Burgess Hill Girls and Chloe Collard entertained the guests with their beautiful musical talents!

It was great to see so many people enjoying the treats on offer and the musical entertainment.

This event is organised by Burgess Hill Town Council, with sponsorship from Burgess Hill & District Rotary Club.

The event was sponsored by Burgess Hill and District Rotary Club, who’s members also came along and sat with attendees. Anita, from the Rotary Club, also kindly made flower arrangements for each table, which attendees were then able to take home and enjoy.
