Residents Forum

The first round of applications has now closed, though applications remain open for future forum vacancies.

Burgess Hill Town Council is setting up a Residents Forum as part of a plan to increase engagement with residents in the town. Its purpose is to help the Council in any consultation it carries out with residents, give advice to councillors on policies it is developing and scrutinise decisions councillors make.

The Forum will meet a minimum of four times per year and will consist of 18 members who will serve for two years.
