The Council is delighted to announce that we are exploring the opportunity of bringing a Festive Market to our town — a festive celebration designed to revitalise our community, spark joy, and bring the magic of the holiday season to life.

We aim to bring a bustling market filled with twinkling lights, the aroma of seasonal treats in the air, talented local artisans displaying their crafts, and families enjoying live entertainment. This exciting initiative comes at the perfect time, aligning with the ongoing regeneration of our town centre.

Beyond the festivities, the market is a meaningful step towards supporting our local economy, encouraging community pride, and attracting new business and investment.

We believe this event has the potential to grow into a beloved annual tradition for everyone to enjoy.

The Council has already secured 16 wooden chalets, with 8 proudly sponsored by local businesses.
