Burgess Hill Town Council has awarded grants totalling £3,777 to a wide range of voluntary organisations and community groups that benefit  the town’s residents. The Council recognises the valuable contribution made by the town’s many voluntary groups and is keen to support those who are working hard to help themselves and others. The following groups were awarded grants:

Councillor Pru Moore, Chairman of the Community Engagement Key Area Group, said: “The Town Council welcomes applications from our community groups. The Council recognises the contribution made to the town by the voluntary sector, and wishes to support its work.” 
Grants of up to £1,000 are available to community groups and voluntary organisations which benefit the town’s residents. The next deadline for these grants is 31 August. 
The applications deadline for capital grants of more than £1,000 is 30 September.
