CHRISTMAS COMES TO BURGESS HILL TOWN CENTRE

Burgess Hill town centre was buzzing with festive fun at Saturday’s Christmas Celebration and Lights Switch On.  Families enjoyed the many activities and entertainment organised for the day, including special guest appearances by Paddington Bear, a free artificial ice rink, live music from Mid Sussex Brass Band, Tobias Alexander Ratcliffe and Thomas Ball plus entertainment from Burgess Hill Radio, free giant snow globe, children’s funfair rides and of course Santa’s Grotto.

Large crowds packed into Church Walk to see the countdown to the Lights Switch On at 5pm by Paddington, Santa, Deputy Mayor Colin Holden, and the winners of the Children’s Fancy Dress Competition.
