WE REQUIRE THIS FORM to be completed a minimum of 2 WEEKS before the event date, otherwise we may be unable to advertise it for you. Please note, Town Council events will be prioritised. Our aim is to share your event on our website and our Facebook page.(Required)

Our aim is to share good news events and positivity. This is not a free advertising page. Commercial advertisements are not accepted for social media and the website, but free events and free activities run by businesses will be promoted. Paid advertisement is available via our About Town Magazine. Paid events and activities will only be promoted if they are organised by charities or community groups, not businesses or commercial groups. Activities that require payment by the attendee, such as sports clubs, toddler group etc, will be listed on the website on the relevant pages.

Example post: On Monday 7th July, The Burgess Hill Teddy Bears Picnic returns to St John’s Park! This exclusive pre-schooler event will run from 11.30am until 2pm with a host of charities and businesses offering activities planned specifically for under 5’s. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day, and register for at the BHTC gazebo. Most of the activities are FREE with a small number of stalls offering an activity for a minimal fee.     Is the club running until a certain date? If it is for a fixed term, you will need to recomplete this form if the term is extended.

    Information will be shared on the relevant website pages, such as 'Baby, Toddler and Pre-School Groups', 'Hobbies' and 'Sports & Fitness'. From time to time we share information about groups/clubs on our Facebook but this is not guaranteed. Please write a short paragraph about the group, such as do you meet regularly, what age are you aimed at etc. Please write in the third person.
