Summer Fayre 2026
The Burgess Hill Summer Fayre returns on Sunday 14 June 2026, from 11am to 3pm, and we are delighted to be back in St John’s Park once again.
Following the fantastic response to last year’s event, the Fayre is set to be another lively day out for the whole community. Visitors can expect a great mix of stalls, games, activities and entertainment throughout the day. Whether you are coming along with family, friends or simply popping in for a wander, there will be plenty to see and enjoy.
There will be plenty of free activities to enjoy throughout the day including:
-BMX Show from RPM Display
-Circus Skills and slacklining from Circus All Stars, proudly sponsored by GoodOaks Home Care
-Falconry displays from Huxley’s Birds of prey, including static displays and two flying demonstrations
-Walkabout entertainment from Iris Enchanted featuring four popular characters
-Inflatables from Brighton Bouncy Castles
-Face painting from Rainbows Face Paint
-Children’s craft hosted by Burgess Hill Creative Community
The Summer Fayre is all about celebrating Burgess Hill and the people who make it such a vibrant place to live. Local community groups, charities and businesses play a huge part in bringing the event to life, and we are inviting them to get involved again for 2026. With two big events taking place on the same day, Burgess Hill is set to be a destination town for visitors across Mid Sussex. Alongside the Summer Fayre at St John’s Park, Wheels Through the Years at Fairfield Recreation Ground will be running from 11am to 4pm.
To help visitors enjoy both events, a free shuttle bus will run between the two locations from 12pm to 3pm, approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. The service is funded by Burgess Hill Town Council and operated by Community Transport Sussex.
