Thank You - Town Wreath

100 years ago the First World War ended and a new world began. The example and experience of those who lived through it shaped the world we live in today.

This year, The Royal British Legion is leading the nation in saying Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.

Burgess Hill residents are invited to be a part of the Thank You movement by writing a Thank You message and dropping it into the Help Point at 96 Church Walk, or P&S Gallagher at 111 Lower Church Road, along with any photos, cards or memorabilia. These will be scanned, turned into a flower card and attached to the Town Wreath.

The wreath will become a collective memory and Thank You that will be laid on the War Memorial on Sunday 11 November to honour the fallen and celebrate the centenary of Armistice Day in 1918.
