It’s ever too early to think about Christmas!

Burgess Hill Town Council are excited to announce the return of the Christmas chalets in 2026 with a bigger and better event!

Following on from a meeting of the Community Engagement Committee on Monday 19th January we are pleased to announce the Christmas Festival will be held on 26th-29th November on Church Walk. There will be a packed program of entertainment and lots of businesses selling their wares. Following feedback, from the 2025 event, the hours will be extended with the chalets open from 11am Thursday and Friday, and 10am on Saturday and Sunday!

Friday will see the Christmas lights switch on and entertainment will run up until the close of the chalets every night, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Save the dates – we can’t wait to welcome you to the Christmas Festival, with lots of festive cheer!

Councillor Brenda Williams, Chair of the Community Engagement group said “We are excited to be creating a new event for residents of Burgess Hill and beyond, to enjoy with the Festival creating the perfect blend of our renown Light Switch on with family entertainment and the chalets returning following on from their success of 2025.  Follow the Town Council for accurate information and updates as we progress the plans throughout the year.”
