October 2025 Half Term Activities!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our October Half Term activities across Burgess Hill.

Our Halloween Trail returned for half term, with 194 children taking part in the hunt for Willow’s ingredients around town. Once completed, participants collected a book and treat from the Help Point and were entered into a prize draw to win a soft toy and craft kit. For more information about the Halloween Trail visit the dedicated page.

52 families joined us at The King’s Church on Monday 27th October for our Family Fun Sessions, for families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)! There was plenty to keep the children busy, and organisations who provide support for parents/carers attended with information. For more information about Family Fun Sessions visit our dedicated webpage.

On Tuesday 28th October, Burgess Hill Youth, supported by Burgess Hill Town Council held a party to celebrate 15 years of Young Carer Fun Days in Burgess Hill. science entertainer ‘Lava Leigh’ kept the children busy with an interactive science show, then in the afternoon, VIPs popped into visit, sharing cake with the young carers, as well as joining in the party games with much hurrah! For more information about Young Carers Fun Days visit the dedicated page.

On the Wednesday, Witchy Mountain returned to Church Walk. Despite the rain, plenty of children turned up to take on the challenge and conquer the climb! That afternoon, we ran our ever-popular Halloween Craft Sessions in partnership with Burgess Hill Creative Community. We welcomed 44 children across three sessions and loved seeing all the creative and spooky designs.

That’s a wrap on this October Half Term. We hope everyone who joined us had a brilliant time. If you attended any of our events, we’d love to hear what you thought! Please share your feedback via our google form.

If you would like to be informed about future events, please sign up to the mailing list.
