Town Twinning
Burgess Hill’s Town Twinning Association was established in 1986 to promote and foster friendship and understanding between the people of Burgess Hill and its twinned towns, to encourage communication between the towns and to forge links with other twinning associations. Burgess Hill is twinned with two towns in mainland Europe, Stadt Schmallenberg in Germany and Abbeville in France. Participation in twinning activities can be very rewarding and anyone can take part.
