Burgess Hill BIG CORONATION Lunch

On Sunday 7 May 2023, Burgess Hill Town Council is hosting the ‘Burgess Hill Big Coronation Lunch’, in St John’s Park. Running from 12 – 4pm, this event promises to be great fun for all the family!

Mid Sussex Search for a Star will be co-ordinating the performances throughout the day, showcasing the brilliant talents of local acts. Whilst you watch, why not grab some food from one of the local community groups. Burgess Hill Bonfire Society, Burgess Hill 7th Scouts and St John’s Church will all be in attendance to provide some tasty snacks!
There will also be lots of exciting activities for children, with bouncy castles, children’s entertainers, and crafts run by Burgess Hill Youth – all for free!

This event will be an unmissable chance to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty, The King, and Her Majesty, The Queen Consort, and will be one of numerous coronation events running throughout the United Kingdom. This event has been funded by the National Lottery Awards for All, Community Fund. Further information on the celebrations will be shared via Town Council social media in the coming weeks.
