Town Council Noticeboards

There are 20 notice boards around Burgess Hill. These are used to display details of forthcoming Council meetings, the website link for planning applications, social events that benefit the community and advice surgeries.

There are only 8 spaces in the boards, with all boards to display the same content. Town Council events and information will take priority, with the additional spaces allocated to submissions from others. We will do our best to display all submissions, however, this cannot be guaranteed.

To submit content for the noticeboards, we require 25x A4 portrait, printed posters (2 posters must be laminated). Posters should be provided well in advance of the event and MUST include contact details for the event organiser.

Printed copies can be either posted through our letterbox located to the right-hand side of our glass fronted offices, handed to a member of the Help Point Team or posted to c/o Community Engagement Team, Burgess Hill Town Council, 96 Church Walk, Burgess Hill, RH15 9AS.

Banners

Banner space is available at McDonalds Roundabout (x2 locations), London Road (barriers near St John’s Park) and Keymer Parade. The recommended banner size for these areas is 1250mmx850mm to enable as many community events to be publicised.

There is also a space on the roundabout by the Triangle Leisure Centre, but the banner must be 4m x 1m, otherwise the banner cannot be erected here. Due to there only being one space, priority will be given to Town Council promotional material at this location.

Any organisation wishing to erect a banner must complete the Google form, for consideration by the Town Council, as well supply a copy of their £5 million Public Liability Insurance. Requests will only be considered via the Google form, and not via email or printed application.
