Burgess Hill Burial Ground
During this pandemic period and for the foreseeable future, the Burgess Hill Burial ground will remain open for burials, interment of cremated remains and for people to visit. We would stress, however, should you wish to visit the burial ground you must observe the government’s rules in regard to social distancing and to NOT visit should you have Covid 19 symptoms or be self-isolating. Those in vulnerable groups need to consider if they are exposing themselves unnecessarily to greater risk.
For further information relating to the burial ground, please click on the following link www.burgesshill.gov.uk/burial-ground or call 01444 238214
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the social distancing restrictions introduced by the government, the Annual Town Meeting which was planned for 14 April 2020, had to be cancelled.
With the government’s regulations in regard to social distancing during the Covid 19 pandemic, council meetings are now being held, where practicable, remotely. This meeting will be held via Zoom and a meeting “link” will be placed on the town council’s website and social media pages shortly before the meeting starts for members of the public to join should they so wish.
