Help Point Current Opening Hours

HELP POINT CLOSURE – The Help Point doors will be open on Fridays for SHC audiology patients with appointments only.
You are still able to get information, advice, Food Bank Vouchers and report issues by contacting the Help Point by phone, 01444 247726, or by email, helppoint@burgesshill.gov.uk.

The Town Council continues to monitor the advice from Central Government.

There will be no Saturday Councillor Drop-In sessions until further notice.

All Help Point Surgeries other than SHC Audiology are cancelled until further notice.

Burgess Hill Burial Ground

During this pandemic period and for the foreseeable future, the Burgess Hill Burial ground will remain open for burials, interment of cremated remains and for people to visit.  We would stress, however, should you wish to visit the burial ground you must observe the government’s rules in regard to social distancing and to NOT visit should you have Covid 19 symptoms or be self-isolating.  Those in vulnerable groups need to consider if they are exposing themselves unnecessarily to greater risk.

Council Meetings

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the social distancing restrictions introduced by the government, the Annual Town Meeting which was planned for 14 April 2020, had to be cancelled. The Annual Town Meeting for 2021 is due to take place on Tuesday 25 May, however this is subject to Covid restrictions at the time.

With the government’s regulations in regard to social distancing during the Covid 19 pandemic, council meetings are now being held, where practicable, remotely. This meeting will be held via Zoom.
