Grants for Community GroupsAims
The Town Council’s Grants Scheme helps to promote a vibrant and active community in Burgess Hill.  It provides financial support for community organisations working for the benefit of residents, with the aim of improving the range of services and activities in the town. 

Types of Grants
Minor Grants of up to £1,000 are awarded twice a year, in June and November.  Applications will be considered for revenue (i.e. running) costs as well as capital costs.  The deadlines for applications are 30 April and 31 August.  The Minor Grants forms can be downloaded as follows: Application Form, Conditions of Funding, Guidance Notes, Environmental Charter.

Major Grants of more than £1,000 are awarded once a year, for capital costs.  Applications for revenue will only be considered if exceptional circumstances are demonstrated.  The deadline for applications is 30 September.  The Major Grants forms can be downloaded as follows: Application Form, Conditions of Funding, Guidance Notes, Environmental Charter
