Grants for Community Groups

Environmental Grants

A one-off £10,000 Environmental Initiatives Fund is available this year for voluntary groups wishing to develop environmental projects. To apply for a grant of up to £1000 from this fund, please fill out the standard Minor Grants form, and for over £1000 please fill out the standard Major Grants Form. The deadline for these grants is 30 September.

Covid-19 Grants

An additional grants fund of £6,225 has been set up with money raised by a live-streamed DJ set by Graham Meeres, match funded by the Town Council and Burgess Hill District Lions Club. The application process has been streamlined so grants can be allocated quickly. The deadline for these grants is 30 September 2020. Minor Grants (up to £1,000)

Minor Grants of up to £1,000 are available for running costs as well as capital expenditure. The application deadlines for Minor Grants are 30 April and 31 August.
