With the government’s regulations in regard to social distancing during the covid 19 pandemic, council meetings are now being held, where practicable, remotely. These meetings will be held via Zoom and a meeting “link” will be placed on the town council’s website and social media pages before the meeting starts for members of the public to join should they so wish.
If you decide to join the meeting, please ensure your device has a microphone (if you are planning to speak at the Open Forum session) and speakers; a headset with built in microphone can be used and works well with most devices. A camera is not required. To reduce background noise, please keep your device on mute until you plan to speak.
Paper copies of an Agenda for a particular meeting must be requested at least 2 working days prior to the meeting to ensure they can be posted to you in time. When the Help Point is open, you will be able to collect them from there. Please email council@burgesshill.gov.uk or phone 01444 247726 with your request.
